Hear What Our Patients Are Saying:

While we can tell you about Dr. Huffman’s credentials and how we offer you a positive alternative to some of the other ADHD treatment options you may find in Minneapolis or St. Paul, we’d rather let you hear from actual patients of ours. Their words summarize the care, compassion and knowledge we bring to every patient’s situation. So if you have been looking for answers to your child's ADHD with no success, listen to our patients and see what Dr. Huffman can do for you and your family.

"Ameer had multiple diagnosis including autism spectrum and ADHD. There were a lot of issues that were causing problems for him and our family. With the treatment that we've had with Dr. Huffman we've seen great improvements in his ability to keep himself regulated and not be so angry. He is able to pay better attention in school and he gets along better with his peers. Dr. Huffman has done a lot of work for him with diet, nutrition and brain based therapy. I would really encourage anybody who has a child that is receiving any sort of psychiatric therapy to come here and see if Dr. Huffman think's he can help them. This has been far more helpful in terms of actually seeing changes in our son's behavior than anything we've tried. Ameer has been with us for 9 years, and he has been in therapy for 8 of those years. This is the first time where he seems a whole lot happier, he is learning better, and overall we have been very pleased with the results. Thank you Dr. Huffman!"    - Sherry (mother of patient)

"Our son was on ADHD medication when we came in. He was doing okay with that but we didn't want to keep him on medication for the long term. My wife found you guys and we brought our son in. He would not listen to us as parents. He was always running around bouncing off the walls at a whole different level than any of our other kids. Our biggest question when we started was whether to try to take this natural approach or to just keep him on the medication and it definitely seems like an obvious decision now looking back. I know that when we first started it was a tough road. I know making the dietary changes were a big step right away. It was a tough first month. But from that point forward he just kept getting better and better. We started doing the brain based therapy and the dietary changes while we kept him on his ADHD meds at that time. Then he started improving. We could see the part of the brain that was lapsing behind the other part of the brain starting to catch up. Eventually it became more balanced to where he could successfully work with other kids, listen to us as parents, and he became  more open to feedback in general . It was a complete 180 degree spin from where he was when he started the procedures. All of the work and the appointments has been a huge payoff. As we went through the program, as he improved we worked with his medical doctor to start weening him off the medication. Now he is off all of his medications and is doing great! Thank you so much! Me and my wife have recommended this program to a lot of families!"    - Curt (father of patient)

"Evan was diagnosed with ADHD and OCD before we came into the office. He had been on ADHD meds for a few years which helped some of the focus issues but then he developed OCD symptoms. Then his medical doctors put him on another medication. The 2nd medication made him more tired and lethargic. He went from being a super energetic happy child to being totally exhausted. He didn't want to go outside anymore. He stopped growing. Then last year we started to realize the OCD was being triggered by his ADHD medication so we tried taking him off of those meds, but then we saw some severe changes in his personality and that he was not functioning like himself at all. So then we began to look for a way to handle the ADHD without medication and that is how we found this office. You identified an imbalance in the right brain and also ran a lot of lab testing. You found blood sugar issues, anemia, vitamin D deficiency,  and even parasites. Working with you to correct those imbalances has made a huge difference.  He has gained weight and is growing. He just had his physical and he is finally back on the charts for height and weight. He is much more healthy physically. He is more active. He desires to go outside and play with his friends. We are starting to see our son come back. The OCD has also gotten much better. There are days now where I don't notice any of his OCD tendencies. He doesn't need his medication any more. It has been a remarkable change and we are so grateful."             -Patricia (mother of patient)
